The modernization of the Horn & Bauer production facility in Schwalmstadt, Germany, has reached an important milestone. Cervitech BV has now installed all the piping from the printing house to the outside and to the afterburner. In addition, six bypass valves with motors have been successfully installed and tested.

The next step in this process is the integration of heat exchangers. This allows the released heat from the afterburner to be used efficiently for both the production process and the heating of the building. With this, Horn & Bauer is taking the next step in sustainability and energy efficiency.
