Machine safety

All machines within the European Union must comply with the fundamental safety and health requirements of the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). These regulations apply to all new machines that are sold or put into operation within the European Union. But there are also so-called minimum safety and health requirements for existing machines and machine parks. However, these fall under the Work Equipment Directive (2009/104/EC). Our technical advisors will be happy to help you.

By designing machines in a safe way, a more user-friendly machine is created. This also applies to older work equipment (machines built before 1995) where safety adjustments must be made. A machine that is safe gives the operator peace of mind. With a well-protected machine, the operator focuses on the process and the execution of his intended tasks. There is then no distraction from unsafe situations.

Cervitech can guide your existing machinery as well as new machines to be installed towards the correct safety.

  3. Analysis: Based on the inspection and the standards, analyze where the bottlenecks are located.
  4. Action plan: A plan with all bottlenecks, solutions and time frame.
  5. Realization: Implementing the points of the action plan.
  6. Delivery: Delivery.
